Directions and check-in guide

First of all: Please pick up your key cards first, as outlined below! It will save you time later on.

Directions to get there (2nd picture at the bottom):

Please note your GPS will most likely loose reception on your way to Snowshoe, so we recommend using an app that stores / saves your route.

From the north (main)  entrance of Snowshoe follow Snowshoe Drive up and pass the village, about 1/2 mile further on the right you will see a sign “Top of the World and Soaring Eagle” and a large parking lot, and behind it the towering Soaring Eagle building.

From the south entrance : follow Snowshoe drive until you reach the top, about 1/8 mile up, and you will see a large parking lot on the right,  and the Soaring Eagle main entrance at the back of it. It will also be on the sign on the right side of the road “Soaring Eagle Lodge”.

Key Card instructions / parking card - how to obtain (1st picture at the bottom):

Your reservation will be in the Snowshoe reservation system, and you will be able to pick them (2) up - and a parking permit - at several locations.The first option is “Allegheny Springs” check in desk (7AM till 11PM) , in the village, easily found off Snowshoe Drive. The second option is Top of the World”(from 11PM till 7AM). You can then proceed to the lobby of the Soaring Eagle building and exchange your parking permit for a Soaring Eagle parking permit at our Concierge on staff at the main entrance, and proceed to the heated, underground parking garage (to the left side of the Soaring Eagle building), use your key card for access. 

Welcome Guide:

Check in time: 4PM

This welcome guide will (hopefully) provide for a smooth and easy arrival to your vacation home. The physical address is :

32 Soaring Eagle Ln, Snowshoe, WV 26209

Your key card is active from your day of arrival at 4PM on the sensor locks. This card will allow access to the whole building and you will need it all the time — do not leave without one — incuding the hot tubs, gym, sauna, elevators, etc.

If any issues arise,  please just ask the Concierge on staff for help at the main entrance, or log onto the WIFI Network Soaring Eagle / pw Eagle123 and enable WIFI assisted calling on your cell phone and call our service number : (863)430 4882. You can also use a landline, in the breezeway of the lobby. 

Once inside, there is a binder on the kitchen island that will have info about your stay, important phone numbers, and a QR code for our website, that includes some tutorials with  info on the hot tubs, fireplace, and TV, as well as events, weather, and activities etc. in case you need it.

Check out time: 10AM

Please ensure all dishes are either cleaned or in the dishwasher and turn it on.
Take all garbage with you to the garbage chute.  Please do not leave opened food or beverages.
If any food or beverage items are unopened, and you do not wish to take them with you, you may leave them in the refrigerator or on the kitchen counter.
Close blinds and curtains.
Lock all windows and doors.
Set thermostats to 55 degrees (in the winter) and 75 degrees (in the summer).
Double check that you have collected all your belongings.
Turn off all lights.
You do not need to deep clean the property as we have professional housekeepers who do that. But, please leave it neat.
Please return your keycards to the location where you obtained them or leave them with our concierge.
