Snowboarding and Skiing @ Snowshoe Resort

The very best of East Coast skiing on over 11000 acres of well groomed slopes, fresh mountain air, amazing scenic views, all to enjoy on your snowboard or skis over the 1500 ft vertical drop. After that the welcoming and cozy village is there to grab a bite, have a drink, and really soak in the experience of this resort. Please don’t forget about Silvercreek, the sister resort, just a mile down the road fom the village toward the North entrance and follow the signs!

Blues and Brews @ Snowshoe resort

This yearly event boasts, as the name says : blues and Brews! For all folks that like to enjoy great crowds, layed back atmosphere and some brews: you’re at the right place.. It is always a great way to spend your afternoon and evening with friends and family on the Mountain resort playground!

Cass Scenic Railroad State Park

About 10 minutes from the south entrance of Snowshoe, there is the Cass Scenic Railroad State Park. Check out Bald Knob, which is the third highest point in WV, about a 4.5 hr roundtrip. A 2 hr roundtrip will take you to Whittaker Station.
